The Prima Artist is Dingwall's Canadian-made flagship multiscale (fanned-fret) bass, conceived as the company's no-compromise instrument. It uses a dual-density body with figured walnut on the bass side and figured maple on the treble side, a neck laminated from five to seven pieces of exotic wood, and handmade Prima Artist pickups available in J-style (PA1), mid-focused (PA2), or three-pickup (PA3) layouts.
