The Steinway Model K-52 is the company's full-size upright piano, standing 52 inches (132 cm) tall. Introduced in 1903, it carries a larger soundboard than many grand pianos for a resonant voice, and uses Steinway's patented diaphragmatic soundboard, Accelerated Action, and Hexagrip pinblock.
