Marshall JCM800
Marshall valve guitar amplifier series
The JCM800 is Marshall's master-volume valve amplifier series introduced in 1981, named for Jim Marshall's initials and his 'JCM' car registration. Stripped-down and aggressive, with a master volume that lets players reach valve saturation at lower levels, the JCM800 defined 1980s hard rock and metal tone and remains one of Marshall's most influential lines.
