Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass

Electric bass guitar which typically has both "jazz" and "precision" style pickups

A Japanese-built take on the Jazz Bass with a bound body that omits the usual forearm and belly contours, most often finished in gloss black with a matching painted headstock. Instead of two Jazz single-coils it uses a Precision/Jazz pickup pairing, giving a more aggressive, modern voice while keeping the slim Jazz neck profile.

    Electric bass

Launched in 1960 as a more refined companion to the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass uses a slim, offset body, a narrow tapered neck, and two single-coil pickups. The result is a punchy, growling tone with a wide range of blended sounds that made it a studio and stage standard across countless genres.
