De Gier BeBop

The BeBop is the De Gier model that established the Schiedam, Netherlands workshop, an offset Jazz-style bass whose prototype was bought by Marcus Miller and whose first production order came from Richard Bona. It blends vintage Jazz-bass voicing with builder Sander de Gier's own refinements.

Warwick Buzzard

A distinctively shaped neck-through electric bass made by the German manufacturer Warwick, originally designed for Cream bassist Jack Bruce. Its angular, asymmetric body and long sustain make it one of the most recognizable Warwick designs.

De Gier Soulmate

The Soulmate is a De Gier bass that takes the vintage Precision-bass vibe and adds builder Sander de Gier's signature tweaks for added versatility and comfort. It is handmade in the Netherlands and followed the BeBop within a year of that model's debut.

Warwick Corvette

A double-cutaway electric bass family made by the German manufacturer Warwick, introduced in 1992 and now one of its most popular ranges. Offered in bolt-on Standard and Proline forms and the twin-humbucker Corvette $$ (also in neck-through), it is the most versatile and widely played Warwick, spanning warm, round tones to bright, aggressive attack. Built with woods such as swamp ash or bubinga bodies, ovangkol necks and wenge fingerboards.

Atelier Z Beta

The Beta is Atelier Z's more modern, aggressively shaped bass with a deep treble-side cutaway and a 24-fret neck, on a 34 in scale with a two-piece ash body and the Atelier Z AZ-3B 3-band preamp.

Overwater J Series

The J Series is Overwater's traditionally inspired UK-built electric bass line, pairing classic Jazz-style looks with Overwater craftsmanship. It uses bolt-on construction, Overwater JJ or PJ noiseless pickups with copper-shielded cavities, and is offered in 4-string (34 in) and 5-string (35 in) versions.

Introduced in 1951, the Precision Bass was the first mass-produced electric bass guitar and effectively defined the instrument. Its fretted neck let players fret notes precisely, and the split single-coil pickup adopted in 1957 gives the deep, punchy tone that anchors recordings across nearly every popular genre.

Höfner 500/2 Club Bass

A short-scale hollow-body electric bass made by the German maker Höfner, a single-cutaway sibling of the famous 500/1 violin bass. Introduced in the late 1950s, the 500/2 Club Bass shares the violin bass's light hollow body and warm, thumpy short-scale tone and is associated with the early-1960s Beatles/Hamburg era. Höfner continues to offer Club Bass reissues.

G&L L-2500

The five-string member of G&L's L-Series, the L-2500 packs the L-2000's feature set into a 34-inch-scale five-string. It carries dual G&L Magnetic Field Design humbuckers, the Tri-Tone control system with active/passive and series/parallel switching, a hard-rock maple neck, and the Saddle-Lock bridge.

Fender Frank Bello Bass

A signature Jazz Bass built for Frank Bello, bassist of the thrash metal band Anthrax. It is based on the four-string Jazz Bass platform, set up for the fast, aggressive playing his style demands.

F Bass AC Classic

Canada

The AC Classic is a fretless bass developed with Alain Caron and billed as 'the upright reinvented,' built in Canada to deliver an acoustic, upright-style voice. It pairs a chambered figured-maple body with a redwood top and extra chambering under the bridge, a three-piece maple neck, a Gabon ebony fingerboard, and LaBella black-nylon tapewound strings, voiced by an F Bass stacked single-coil bridge pickup and a Fishman piezo system in a handmade ebony bridge. It is offered fretless in four-, five-, and six-string versions.

Marleaux Votan

The Votan is a traditionally voiced Marleaux electric bass with a balanced outline, offered in 4- and 5-string versions on a 34 in scale. It uses two Delano-made Votan Xtender pickups with serial/parallel/single-coil switching and the Marleaux V2 2-band EQ.
