The SJ (Small Jumbo) is James Olson most popular guitar model, favoring strong overtones and harmonics with lots of sustain. Balanced across the fingerboard and well suited to alternate tunings and capo use, it is best suited for fingerstyle but handles a flat pick, and is the guitar of choice for James Taylor and Phil Keaggy. Each is hand-built to order in Circle Pines, Minnesota.
