A 10-hole, 20-reed diatonic harmonica from the Brazilian maker Hering (model 1020), named for the company's 1923 founding. It uses a Richter note arrangement across three octaves in a major key and is built with a wooden body and extra-thick brass reed plates for a full, punchy blues and folk tone. Hering Harmonicas
Hering Harmonicas is a Brazilian harmonica maker founded in 1923 by Alfred Hering in Blumenau, in southern Brazil. It became one of the world's notable harmonica producers, was owned by Hohner from the early 1960s into the late 1970s, and was relaunched by Brazilian investors in 1996; since 2017 it has been owned by SHG. Hering is known especially for diatonic, chromatic, tremolo, and octave harmonicas.
