Mutable Instruments Braids is a macro-oscillator Eurorack module offering dozens of digital synthesis models - from classic analog-style and FM voices to physical modeling and noise - in a single oscillator, and is the conceptual predecessor of Plaits. Its hardware and firmware were released open-source; Mutable Instruments closed in 2022.
