The Henri Selmer Paris Reference series, first introduced as tenor saxophones in 2000, revisits two of the company's most celebrated vintage designs. It comprises the Reference 54, which takes the design of the Mark VI (introduced 1954), and the Reference 36, which is based on the Balanced Action (introduced 1936).
