The Northfield Big Mon is an F-style F5 mandolin, slightly enlarged from Northfield's standard F5 body with larger f-holes for greater midrange warmth, bass, and volume. It is built with an Adirondack red or Engelmann spruce top and highly figured maple back, sides, and neck, and is one of Northfield's flagship instruments.
