The reviewed model pairs a mahogany body and a bolt-on maple neck with a pau ferro fingerboard and a set of Friedman Classic 90 (P-90 style) pickups over a fixed hardtail bridge. Thin aged nitrocellulose lacquer, a 10-to-14-inch compound-radius board, and Plek-finished fretwork give it vintage looks with modern playability.
