The NG-3 is Dingwall's Adam "Nolly" Getgood signature multiscale (fanned-fret) bass and is the three-pickup version of the NG line, while the NG-2 carries two pickups. It uses an alder body and a bolt-on five-piece maple neck with three Dingwall FD3n neodymium pickups feeding a Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp that has an active/passive switch. Offered in four-, five-, and six-string versions, its bodies and necks are made in China and finished with fret-leveling and setup in Canada; the five-string fans from a 37-inch low B down to a 34-inch G.
