    Dingwall D-Roc

    Multiscale electric bass model

    China

The D-Roc is a Canadian-made multiscale (fanned-fret) Dingwall bass built around a stripped-down, fully passive setup. It pairs a khaya (African mahogany) body and matching wood pickguard with a five-piece maple neck, a wenge fingerboard, and a single handmade Dingwall FDV pickup wired to a master volume, a four-position pickup selector, and a master tone. Offered in four- and five-string versions, it uses Dingwall's long fan, with the five-string running from a 37-inch low B down to a 34-inch G.

    Dingwall Combustion

    Multiscale electric bass model

    China

The Combustion is Dingwall's most affordable multiscale (fanned-fret) electric bass, using the brand's angled frets so each string sits at its own scale length for clearer, tighter low notes. It has a swamp ash body, a bolt-on five-piece maple neck, and two Dingwall FD3n neodymium pickups feeding a three-band preamp with an active/passive switch. It is offered in four-, five-, and six-string versions; the bodies and necks are made in China and each instrument receives a final fret level and setup in Canada, with the five-string fanning from a 37-inch low B down to a 34-inch G.
