The Yamaha YTR-8310Z is a Custom Z professional B-flat trumpet developed through Yamaha's long partnership with jazz trumpeter Bobby Shew, with a second generation introduced in 2018. It has a 0.445-inch step bore, a one-piece yellow brass bell, and monel valves, and is built for lead and jazz playing with versatile projection and tone. It is offered in gold lacquer or silver-plate.
