The Yamaha AV5-SC is an entry-level acoustic violin outfit built on a Stradivarius-style pattern with a spruce top and maple back, sides, and neck, finished in hand-brushed oil varnish. It is fitted with an ebony fingerboard, ebony pegs and chin rest, a Yamaha original bridge, and a Wittner Ultra tailpiece with four fine tuners, and is shop-adjusted by Yamaha-trained technicians. Offered in sizes from 4/4 down to 1/16, the outfit includes a Brazilian wood bow, a shaped case, and rosin.
