The Strymon El Capistan is a dTape tape-echo delay pedal that recreates the warm, distinctive character of vintage tape machines. It offers three tape modes — Single Moving (sliding record head), Single Fixed (three playback head divisions), and Multi Fixed (two simultaneous heads) — plus Wow & Flutter, Tape Age, Tape Crinkle, Tape Bias, Low End Contour, and an independent spring reverb.
