The Shure SM7B is a cardioid dynamic microphone with a wide, flat frequency response and switchable bass-rolloff and presence-boost controls. Heavily shielded against electrical hum and derived from the earlier SM7, it is a studio and broadcast standard for voiceover, podcasting, and close-miked vocals.
