Electric guitar model

The Sardonyx is a rare electric guitar built in small numbers in New York between the late 1970s and 1984 by luthier Jeff Levin together with inventor Ken Schaffer. It is recognizable for its small rectangular body flanked by aluminum outrigger tubes, and was played by Howard Leese of Heart and by John Lennon during the Double Fantasy sessions.
