Carved-top electric guitar

The MK1 is Pensa Custom Guitars' signature electric, originating in 1988 as the Pensa-Suhr MK-1 designed with Mark Knopfler (the 'MK') to combine the voices of a 1961 Stratocaster and a 1958 Les Paul in one instrument. Hand-built in New York City, it features a mahogany body with a carved figured-maple cap and a maple neck.
