Professional 4/4 CC tuba
The Meinl Weston 2145 is a 4/4-size C (CC) tuba designed in cooperation with tubist Sam Pilafian. It combines four steel piston valves with a thumb-operated fifth rotary valve, a 0.748-inch main bore, and a 16.5-inch (42 cm) upright yellow brass bell. Compact in appearance but powerful and projecting, it is at home in solo, chamber, and orchestral playing, and is offered in clear lacquer or silver-plate.
