The Martin HD-28 is a herringbone-trimmed dreadnought with a solid spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, voiced with forward-shifted scalloped bracing for deep bass and ringing trebles. It is a Standard Series model handmade in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
