The Ibanez TS808 is the original Tube Screamer, first released in 1979 and reissued faithfully by Ibanez. It uses the prized JRC 4558D IC chip and all-analog circuitry to deliver the warm, smooth, mid-focused overdrive that became a staple on pedalboards worldwide. Controls are the classic Overdrive, Tone, and Level, and the reissue is made in Japan.
