The Heinrich Gill W3 violin is an advanced model from the Gill workshop in Bubenreuth, Germany, built from a tight-grained solid spruce top and a highly figured two-piece flamed maple back, with an ebony fingerboard and a hand-applied antique-style varnish. It produces a warm, vibrant tone that carries into the higher positions and is aimed at advancing and semi-professional violinists.
