Gibson Chet Atkins SST

Steel-string semi-acoustic guitar

A thin solid-body acoustic-electric introduced in 1987 and developed with Chet Atkins, designed to deliver flat-top tone at high volume without feedback. It uses a piezo bridge transducer in a chambered solid body, giving stage players an amplified steel-string voice in an electric-style instrument.
