The Samuel Eastman VC100 is a student cello with a hand-carved solid spruce top, a maple back with laminated maple ribs, ebony fittings with a composite tailpiece, hand-inlaid purfling, a Despiau bridge, and an amber-brown high-gloss varnish. Cut on the Stradivari pattern, it is offered in sizes from 4/4 down to 1/10 for beginning and advancing players.
