The Andreas Eastman VA405 is an intermediate viola with a spruce top, maple back and ribs, an ebony fingerboard, boxwood fittings with ebony trim, hand-inlaid purfling, a Despiau bridge, and a hand-applied antiqued spirit varnish inspired by early-twentieth-century German workshops. It is offered on Stradivari and Tertis patterns in body lengths from 17 inches down to 15 inches.
