Altus 1707

Professional concert flute model

The Altus 1707, also sold as the PSII, is a handmade professional concert flute with a pure silver (.997) headjoint, body, and footjoint, a sterling silver lip-plate and riser, a silver mechanism, and soldered tone holes. Altus forms its pure silver tubing using powder metallurgy because the metal is otherwise too soft for conventional flute making. It can be ordered with offset or inline G, open- or closed-hole keys, and a B or C foot.
