Wilhelm Schimmel Pianofortefabrik is a German piano maker founded in 1885 by Wilhelm Schimmel. One of Germany's most prominent piano builders, Schimmel makes its premium Konzert and Classic grand and upright pianos by hand in Braunschweig (Brunswick), and is known for design features such as triplex scaling and an enlarged soundboard.
