Lexicon is an American manufacturer of professional digital audio processing equipment, founded in 1971 in Waltham, Massachusetts. The company pioneered digital reverberation technology with landmark products including the 224, 480L, and PCM series. Lexicon reverb units became studio standards used across recorded music from the 1970s onward.
